You are allowed to fully develop all tradeskills if you wish to take the time working on the skills. You are not forced to gimp your character to participate fully in trade skills like Star Wars Galaxies or to limit the skill progression of grand master to only one profession. If you put in the time to develop your character, you will get your character developed. It seems to be one of the few games that does not limit people in advancement to some arbitrarily lower status based on some system of fairness. Final Fantasy XI Online is a very impressive game.
